Johnny Cupcakes stopped by through Phoenix recently at The Lab 137 as part of his “Coffin Tour”, where he sold limited edition t-shirts and products from his brand at a pop-up shop for the event.
Photos from the Bundle Up Graff Show, the December Final Friday event at Wet Paint’s B-Side Gallery. The mural was done by Chad Evans and the show featured artists Tenski, Mario G, members of TAF and DIRT crew, and more.
Wet Paint is a neutral territory. Wet Paint is not assosiated with any crews or specific writers of any sort. All are welcome. There are too many bare walls in AZ to be beefing with each other. Grow up and get over it.
The meaning behind “unique system” comes from the reality of how Native Americans lived everyday from their system of culture, survival, and spiritual beliefs. Un3ek Sy5tem believes that system is unique and without that, Native Americans would not be who they are today. Not only does the company name have meaning, the designs of each shirt have its own story. Every design is inspired by graffiti art, hip-hop culture, spiritual and Native American influences topped off with the creativeness of the designer.
UPDATE: Special thanks to the guys at BARONfor putting this sweet video together. Check it!
Damn, MadOne’s Stickerphiends #4 was a good time. Stickers up for grabs absolutely littered the place throughout the night. DJ 1Son and the open bar kept the party going, and at one point someone in a giant paper-mache bunny head started handing out business cards claiming he was Banksy, which explained the“I AM BANKSY” that defaced a wall on Apache Rd. the night before. Lalo Cota, JB Snyder and Breeze decorated a van outside in the parking lot, courtesy of Wet Paint. Check out the grip load of photos below, thanks to MadOne.
Here’s a few pics from Maybe 2011 Will Be Better on New Cheers at The Compound, a great show that featured an incredible amount of Phoenix artists. Check out more pieces after the jump.
