“Water is Power” Prints Available from Thomas Greyeyes

Thomas Greyeyes has prints available of his new work, “Water is Power”, inspired by current legislation in Arizona that seeks to rob Navajo and Hopi people of their water rights and make them incapable of farming their own land. Introduced by Senators John McCain and Jon Kyle, SB2109 aims to “persuade Navajo Nation and Hopi Tribal leaders to give up their peoples’ aboriginal and Treaty-guaranteed priority Water Rights by accepting a ‘Settlement Agreement’ written to benefit some of the West’s most powerful mining and energy corporations”.

“Finding Home” & “Area Codes No. 1” Release ~ The 1912 Project

William LeGoullon of The 1912 Project released  “Finding Home”, his tenth limited-edition batch of Arizona-inspired shirts. His 9th release, “Area Codes”, also came out back in March. We’re a little late at spreading the word here on phxtaco, but LeGullon’s eleventh release should premier sometime this month. And since only 25 of the limited-editions shirts are printed, you’ll want to stay up to date on the releases at the website, where you can also view previous editions and read a bio on the author/project.
