KENO TV Episodes 13 & 14 ~ All Over

Tuesday, June 28th, 2011

KENO from the graffiti crew BAMC started KENO TV a year ago. He has shot and edited 14 short films of Arizona graffiti. Check out all 14 episodes on his youtube account here, and “like” his facebook page here. Stay tuned for more from KENO in the very near future.

Taking photos and filming for me is like painting…it has all the elements…1:a subject. 2:form 3:individual style.and 4:technique. Now the beautiful part of this is that our entire known earth & universe has endless “paintings” for us to capture in our lens. With my camera lens I can paint an even better picture than I can with paint…a better story gets told.

Chinga La Migra! ~ Arizona Department of Public Safety Hacked by LulzSecurity

Friday, June 24th, 2011

An international group identified as Lulz Security hacked the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) today. In a release on their website, they give reasons as to why . . .

We are releasing hundreds of private intelligence bulletins, training manuals,
personal email correspondence, names, phone numbers, addresses and passwords
belonging to Arizona law enforcement. We are targeting AZDPS specifically
because we are against SB1070 and the racial profiling anti-immigrant

police state that is Arizona.

Every week we plan on releasing more classified documents and embarassing
personal details of military and law enforcement in an effort not just to reveal
their racist and corrupt nature but to purposefully sabotage their efforts to
terrorize communities fighting an unjust “war on drugs”.

This afternoon, LulzSecutiry sent Sheriff Joe Arpaio a personal message from their twitter saying, “Media? Heat? You? Chinga La Migra!” The group has also made headlines in recent weeks after hacking and releasing personal information of over 37,500 employees at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Sand Oner ~ Afida’s Hair Culture

Tuesday, June 21st, 2011

I had been meaning to take some photos of the piece on the side of Afida’s Hair Culture (116 E Roosevelt St.) from Sand, a legit artist from Los Angeles, but by the time I actually got around to it the wall had started to fall off. Bummer! Then SEAMS fixed it up a little bit and now it looks as good as new. Check out Sand Oner’s blog here.
